How is the Battery: With the battery fully charged the firefly 2+ heats in only 3 seconds. Unlike the original firefly, this one is much improved and contain longer battery life. The battery charges fully in just 45 minutes. Overall, the battery life is satisfactory.
About the Heat: The Firefly 2+ will reach 400F (204C) in just 3 seconds. FF2 uses 50 watt heater. The interesting part is, firefly 2 has 6 different heat settings, 5 settings for dry herbs and one for concentrates.
Minimal maintenance: FF2+ is extremely easy to clean. There is no screen in the bowl to replace or clean. You can just wipe it using isopropyl alcohol. Also, using an air duster can do your job.
